Comments for Manon Hutchings:
"A confident approach to the pieces and exercises. The playing showed awareness of rhythm and dynamics. Some small slips in the finger works but a sense of character and purpose remained. Try for a more even tone in the legato playing of Walking and Rocking. They were a little hurried today and a little uneven as a result. You have made an excellent start to begin preparation for Grade 1. Well done!"
Comments for Joanne Divchev-Curr:
"A nicely confident start at a lovely tempo in your Time Machine with bold tone. Your notes were usually accurate if not always strictly steady in tempo. Some nice touches of legato/staccato and dynamics levels in your playing. A good aural response. Keep up the good work!"
Comments for Rebecca Nolten:
"An impressive start with your tunes played at a good speed with steady rhythms and some variety in your dynamics. Your pieces were attractively played too, with musical shape and a high degree of accuracy. A good aural response. Your performance today was very impressive, making you a most promising player. Keep up the excellent work."

Comments for Alexander Roberts:
"Firm and confident with Walking and Rocking - try the crescendos and diminuendos. Hopping also good - just be a little more staccato. Boating Lake: You showed the legatos and staccatos very well in this confident solo - just one hesitant bar. Jogalong: Brisk playing and notes are well known. At a slightly slower speed, you would be able to show all the rises and falls in dynamics. All very good, bravo!"

Comments for Gregor Horn:
"You sit well at the piano and hand shape is developing well, just make sure you keep your wrist up. The tunes were confident and neat, with well produced tone. Boating Lake was well done with smooth melody in the left hand at the start. Jogalong was quite energetic and the listening game showed a good ear. A very good start - keep it up!"

Comments for Susie Green:
"Your playing of the memory tunes had poise, precision and shape; good hand positions. Control of the quavers is coming on well in Car Chase in both hands. The tune really sang out in Boating Lake and supporting chords were sensitive in touch. All aural responses were prompt and secure. Well Done!"
